Linyi jinling textile spinning cotton into yarn, generally through qinghua, carding cotton, and strips, roving, fine yarn and other major processes. The yarn and thread used for high grade products also need to be combed.

3. How to indicate the thickness of yarn
1. Definitions
There are two ways to show the thickness of yarn: one is the length system (number system), that is, the weight of yarn per unit length. One is the fixed weight system, which is expressed as the length of yarn per unit weight. China's current regulations adopt fixed length system.
(1) Tex is commonly known as number, or special. At a given moisture regain rate (8.5%), a cotton yarn 1000 metres long, which weighs as much as a gram, is called a special.

Tex -- Tex
G -- weight (G) of yarn at a constant moisture regain
L -- length of yarn sample (m)
If the cotton yarn of 1000 meters length weighs 28 grams, the cotton yarn is 28 Tex (or size).
(2) number of British cotton yarn: at the official moisture regain rate (9.89%), cotton yarn weighing 1 pound, with a length of several 840 yards, is called several cotton yarn.

G -- yarn weight (pounds) at a given moisture regain
If the length of one pound cotton yarn is 32 840 yards, the length of this cotton yarn is 32.
